My writing career began more than two decades ago when I worked as a journalist and editor in Southern California. After moving back to my home state of Nebraska in 2004, I freelanced for a number of periodicals and magazines, and later became an AP news reporter, and columnist.
My first novel, No Dogs or Indians was published in 2016, and I also have a short collection of flash fiction stories entitled, Well-Broke, which I offer for free to my Reader List subscribers.
I currently write a syndicated op-ed column entitled, Strictly Haresay , reaching readers across the Great Plains of the U.S, and beyond, while I continue my novel writing.
